2025 Year in Review
look what God did this year!
As we look back on 2025, our hearts are full!
This year has been marked by God’s faithfulness and by the steady work he’s been doing in and through our church family week after week.
Throughout the year, people encountered hope on Sundays, adults found community in groups, kids and students heard the gospel in environments created just for them, marriages were strengthened, needs were met, lives were changed, and generosity flowed into our community.
We also continued the work of building our new home! It’s a space that will serve our community for generations to come, and we can’t wait to see our church family in it.
At the center of all of this is Jesus. He’s the one who started this work, the one who sustains it, and the one it’s all ultimately about. Every story of life change points back to Him.
So, whether East Cobb Church is your home or a place you’re exploring, we’re grateful you’re here. If you’re looking for a next step in your faith, please reach out! We’d love to help.
And to all who helped make this year possible through your time, talent, and resources - thank you! Your faithfulness has made an extraordinary difference, and we are forever grateful.

Baptism
I want people to know that Jesus isn’t about religion or rules; he’s about relationship. He meets you right where you are no matter what your past is or how much you think you know now. His love is personal, unconditional, and life-changing.
Aaron
62 adults, Students and children went public with their faith through baptism.
Building Update
This year we laid our foundation and made incredible progress on Waumba Land—the portion of the building you can see from Shallowford Road. It’s beautiful inside and out, and we can’t wait to see our families enjoy those spaces every Sunday.
We will see major progress on all of our spaces in 2026 and hope to be ready to open in early 2027. We can’t wait to move into our new home together!
On a typical Sunday
